@PotteringPolly Oh Polly, it’s so worth the wait though, isn’t it? We are having the front of our cottage lime rendered in August, not cheap, but it will be done properly using similar materials the cottage would originally have been built with. Will be good to get rid of that cement render.

@PotteringPolly Most of my alliums fell down 🫤. Suspect I weeded out to many of the opium poppies thinking they would smother them. In actual fact I think they would have given them a helping hand.🤷‍♀️

I think April & May have got mixed up. We’re definitely having April showers, one minute torrential downpours & hailstones, the next bright sunshine with beautiful blue skies 💦☀️💙 Anyway most of the flowers are standing up to it 🌿💕 #flowersonfriday #bloomscrolling #pinkfriday

@PotteringPolly I was just saying that yesterday 😂 it's exactly like that. We barely got a drop of rain in all of April, and so far May has been very changeable (and quite cold!). Looks like another few days of cold weather here, then up to 18/20 ish degrees later next week.

@DollysGarden @PotteringPolly I wouldn't say no to those 😂 I'm currently impatiently waiting for my actual rhubarb to grow enough so I can pick it 🧐 I've had one lot already, but it's being quite slow to grow back. I stew it down with sugar, it's delicious!
