🚨⛳️🤦🏼♂️ #LIVID — Bryson DeChambeau is NOT happy with the course conditions at LIV Mexico City @BrysonLegion
“You got destroyed grass… oh this is rough.”
“Guys this is what we’re playing on apparently!”

@acaseofthegolf1 La Sasso must feel real good about his decision.
English

@acaseofthegolf1 why was Michael Brennan playing on the Americas tour this week?
English

@DKSports77 @grok what are the mathematical odds LIV signs the top 57 players in the world? Is this a good hypothetical?
English

@UnderdogGolf @grok what is the realistic strength of schedule difference of the LIV event this week vs. the WM Phoenix open? Which event boasts more competition?
English

@grok @livgolf_league @grok What are some other players who achieved 58 world ranking points dating back to 2022. Sort by age highest to lowest.
English

@PourMeAnother__ @livgolf_league Based on Ian Poulter's top 10 finishes in LIV events since 2022, and applying the new 2026 OWGR system retrospectively (with ~23 points for a win, scaling down), he would have deserved about 58 points. Officially, the rule starts now, so zero so far.

LIV Golf players react to OWGR news 🗞️
From 2026 the top 10 finishers in LIV Golf events will secure OWGR points.

It’s official. Rising star Elvis Smylie joins @rippergc_
The 23yo adds to the growing list of young international players choosing LIV over the establishment. Interested to see how his & similar aged players (Tom McKibbin, David Puig, Caleb Surratt) careers pan out by this move.

@ProGolfCritic @HKSboosted86 @PGATOUR Why does the most competitive tour have to be a “global” tour? Is the premier league a “global” league?
English

@HKSboosted86 @PGATOUR Because the PGAT model is broken and it’s not a global product. Obvi
English

Once you realize EVERYTHING the @PGATOUR does is about optics and not substance, the whole organization and what they do/say makes a lot more sense.

🚨👀⛳️ #NEW — The Iron Heads GC are no longer and have undergone a major re-brand with a name change to ‘Korean Golf Club’ featuring a white tiger logo.
Thoughts on the change?

@AndrewKirbyGolf @the_fried_egg @desertdufferLLG 😂What a colossal waste of time. Not a single player on LIV wants to play PGA Tour. It would require a public apology and restitution to LIV playersfor paying millions to Clout media to disparage all of us.A better topic is future sanctions for the many players who now come to LIV
English

@the_fried_egg again - saying LIV players will be sanctioned differently based on subjective and schoolboy standards - pure fantasy 🤡
And will likely not be allowed by the DOJ in any event

Marco Penge confirms to TenGolf that he will not be joining LIV Golf for the 2026 season and plans to take up his PGA Tour membership:
“I’m going to America tomorrow with my wife to find a place for when we move in January. So as far as I’m aware, I’m playing the PGA Tour next year and hopefully I’ll have a great season and finish in the playoffs there and then come back to the DP World Tour and play the rest of the season here.
“I love playing golf and I’d play every week if my team let me. So yeah, I want to be playing against the best players in the world and I want to be playing national opens like this. When you win a couple of national opens, that’s something that I’ll never forget and something that my family will never forget. So, that’s my plan.”
There’s been a lot of speculation in recent weeks that he could be considering a move, but I think that clears it up pretty decisively. Marco’s game is perfect for the PGA Tour with his huge distance and the height his ball apex’s at, plus how well he putts. With his new found confidence after winning 3 times this season he can really make an impression out there.
I look forward to seeing him competing next season wherever he decides to play his golf 💪🏴

@ProGolfCritic @CharlesHouser1 LIV’ers play against the same 5 competitive golfers each and every week. What don’t you understand?
English

@CharlesHouser1 Your opinion about “what LIV players did” doesn’t matter. Most fans just want accurate rankings. Corrupt bureaucrats worry about procedure over outcomes. I will bring it up until THEY fix it. Not that hard to understand (or to fix).
English

We’re at the point where you can get into the OWGR Top 50 by playing on the Korn Ferry Tour. 🙄
Sean Martin@PGATOURSMartin
Johnny Keefer is competing for a Masters spot at this week’s @KornFerryTour Championship. He’s 51st in the OWGR. Top 50 at year’s end go to Augusta. Keefer has 18 top-10 finishes in 36 starts as a pro. He’s finished 1st or 2nd nine times! @BaylorMGolf
English

@NUCLRGOLF If I had to guess, his PGAT schedule will probably look like:
- AT&T Pebble
- Genesis
- API
- Players
- Houston Open
- Truist
- Memorial
- RBC Canadian
- BMW
- Tour Championship

🚨🗓️🏌️ #NEW: Speaking ahead of the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth, Rory McIlroy talked about his future and said he’s only going to play where he wants to play, when he wants to play: “I don't want to be grinding out here at 50 years of age. I'll turn up and play the majors and have a nice time but you know, whenever I'm done, I'm done, whenever that is. That's certainly not right now, but I'm certainly closer to that point now than I was in 2007 when I turned pro.”
“Again, at this point I want to play golf when I want to play golf. I want to play in the locations that I love to go to, and I want to play the majors and the Ryder Cup. That's it. I'm not going to be going by minimums or anything else. Like I'll obviously do my bit to make sure I keep my membership and all that on certain tours, but I'm going to play where I want to play.” @TrackingRory

@ProGolfCritic @ChuckRehm4 @livgolf_league About the same as Poults and half the other washed up LIV’rs.

One of the best things about @livgolf_league is how equitable the stats are (same field/events/conditions for all) so the player stat comparisons mean a little more. I dove into the Strokes Gained numbers & there are 10 players that had + SG (raw) in all 5 categories.
1. Jon Rahm (10, 2, 4, 2, 1)
2. Joaquin Niemann (13, 13, 3, 3, 2)
3. Bryson DeChambeau (21, 31, 19, 1, 3)
4. Sebastian Muñoz (15, 23, 1, 12, 4)
5. Patrick Reed (24, 9, 5, 22, 7)
6. Thomas Pieters (28, 4, 16, 19, 11)
7. Tyrrell Hatton (14, 22, 7, 28, 11)
8. Paul Casey (29, 29, 2, 23, 13)
9. Abe Ancer (23, 28, 22, 17, 19)
10. Anirban Lahiri (25, 11, 26, 24, 20)
Ranks in parens (Putting, Around the Green, Approach, Off the Tee, Overall). Basically, I consider that these are the players with no statistical weaknesses. @Crushers_GC have 3 (and CHIII barely missed!). Having these players is what every team needs.
True SG reduces the list to 4: Rahm, Joaco, Muñoz, Pieters.
I also wanted to know what players were elite (top 7) at more than one skill? Only 6!
- Rahm (ATG, Approach, Driving) only one with 3.
- Joaco (App, Driving)
- David Puig (Putt, Driving)
- Tom McKibbin (ATG, Driving)
- Cam Smith (Putt, ATG)
- Cameron Tringale (Putt, ATG)
Super valuable players and another reason why Rahm is MVP!!!
