If hijab is a universal religious obligation, why was it not required of enslaved Muslim women? Classical scholars agree it was about social status. Surely this then means it's manifestation is according to the social context of which one lives in?

These virtual conversations between non mahrams are no different from real life interactions. People justify them because they're public discussions about Islam, but the issue is the effect they leave behind and the normalization they create. Korra's debate with 20 Christian women inspired many young women to study Islam, which is good. But this will normalise public interaction with non mahram men online. That opens the door to greater fitnah over time. Muslim women should avoid unnecessary conversations with non mahram men, even in virtual spaces.
