I know this is a hard pill to swallow for nostalgia merchants but Neymar is also a better footballer than Ronaldinho was.
He scored more, won more trophies, one of only 5 players to ever score more than 100 goals for 3 different teams, he’s Brazil’s all time top scorer…

@johnnyddavidson Increasing the cap achieves nothing. Latest accounts show that only Leigh made a profit (Wigan & Wakey exempt from declaring) & 4 lost over £1m in 12 months! Increasing the cap will just bankrupt more clubs. We need to look at improved TV & sponsorships to enable better wages

@johnnyddavidson @John_Michaels1 @jtwkhr07 This doesn’t seem to say a lot about their negotiating power. £20m from Sky for 3 games a week, didn’t they used to pay £40m for 2? £10m from DAZN for another 3 ain’t great either, just a modest improvement on the current deal really.

My understanding is that, possibly, around £20 million of that comes from Sky a year for broadcast of 2-3 games, with £10 million or more part of the deal coming from DAZN for broadcast of 3 games. The NRL bringing it all together and with the actual offer - not chipping in a lot themselves actually. But with the ability to bring it all together.

Of course and so did all the Coaches btbf it wasn't as big an issue as it is now for Alicia as her noticeability has increased and as I have said she is IMHO being unfairly targeted for this! Others do it and it is not put on SM frame by frame.

@KateWalther6 @CoachLisaA Yes, not sure if it’s just more common in the men’s/mixed game but it gets dubbed the “dark arts” and if someone can give you a little nudge esp whilst you’re trying to balance to get you offside then they absolutely will do. Not everyone does it, but happens a lot

@CoachLisaA I honestly have never seen this at any level - certainly not by the same player more than once. Purposely pushing someone offside (from behind with no warning) to win a penalty? Cannot remember one example. The only sort of similar incident I can remember was Tippett on Weston.

@CoachLisaA @TheNetballShow I don’t understand the controversy really. Gamesmanship exists in every competitive environment and especially sport. Ultra competitive players are always going to try and do whatever it takes to get the advantage. It was hardly assault

@Poyser90 @SAINTSGUS That for me is a hip drop. Almost piggy back then sits down on leg. That’s my interpretation of a hip drop. Very different to Hosts in my opinion.

@MUFC_Saints @TheGameCaller Trying to see video again. Seen it once and first view was it an unfortunate accident but without reviewing I can’t say for sure. Quicker game more defenders are going to end up behind the ball carriers as momentum is more led to attackers. Seeing a lot of injuries this year

@SilversRef @SAINTSGUS Did you see the tackle Knowles got banned for 5 games for on Cooper the other year? This one seemed way more out of control than that one. Agree there’s no malice, but it is dangerous to use your bodyweight like that

@SAINTSGUS Watched it several times and still not sure what the Bulls player has actually done wrong. They are always landing on back of Hosts legs whether feet remain on the floor or not. Mechanics of the tackle for me

@saints_clips Sky's clock was off all night, it wasn't stopping when they were reviewing captains challenges or tries. It jumped about a couple weeks of times. If the timekeepers have sent him on too early it's a joke from the RFL, but suspect it might be Sky messing up.

You'll see Shorrocks waiting to come back on, and behind him a RFL time keeper. He returns to the field with about 1:45 left on his yellow. Other teams fans will claim "cheating" obviously, but this is embarrassing from the RFL point of view and shows how bad their processes are.
