That match I was in was late 90s so maybe... Of the HRT guys, two of them were "meh" but the rest were top tier shooters, clearly. The Army guys are always fun to shoot with. Here in Centex we had Todd Jarret, Ted Bonnet, Dave Dawson, Virgil Tripp and a few other super squad guys. Was fun to watch the best do their thing. Now we have Max Michel over at Staccato as our local super shooter.

@PracticalCarry @bmitori AMU pistol guy are super legit. There was a HRT Stupid Squad (super squad #2) that competed in and did well in the 90s.

Nobody, and I mean nobody has ever said that "shooting quickly in a staged environment under no stress" (AKA participating in a match) makes you "tactically proficient". Just more cope from the "competition builds bad habits" industry.

An incredible amount of skill, planning, and math went into this. From billet prep and precise placement to heat treat and that gorgeous handle, it's a one-of-a-kind masterpiece.
