Although there is so much uncertainty and pressure in our lives let us not get to the point where you do not feel the thrill of this life. Live with vitality, energy, and excitement.

I recently heard it is smart to live one raise behind your current one. This is a clever mindset to live below your means and to not upgrade your lifestyle too fast and aggressively.

Living below your means is one of the easiest paths to wealth. Do this simply by investing your money first and then using the rest for needs and wants. On my budget sheet, the first items are investing/saving, so I prioritize those first before moving on to the rest.

@TheMattViera Majority of teachers make under $80k. It’s unfortunate because most deserve to be paid more! However the teacher is the clear choice in this scenario

Who’s really winning? The attorney who makes ~$250k, works 60+ hours/week, and: Drives a ~$90k SUV Rarely takes vacations Rents a luxury apartment Or the teacher who makes ~$100k, works 40 hours/week, and: Drives a paid-off SUV Spends summers traveling Owns a modest home

@ant_trading1 Love it. That’ll be valuable one day. One strategy I’ve used when buying bigger purchases is whatever the cost of the purchase was I invest the same dollar amount in $VTI Makes me rethink some purchases but also increases my investments when I do purchase

Investing isn’t that hard. Buy companies you use. Woke up, checked my $AAPL watch, and made a meal in my $WHR. Worked on $GOOGL, ordered from $TGT, and got $NKE gear. Drove my $TSLA while streaming $SPOT, then ended on $NFLX. Now imagining owning that portfolio: $AAPL, $WHR, $GOOGL, $TGT, $NKE, $TSLA, $SPOT, $NFLX.

Building an emergency fund is taking charge now so life doesn't take control later. No stress when hardships come.

One of my top financial priorities right now is building a 6-month emergency fund in my SoFi highyield savings account. Once I reach this goal, it will be an incredible psychological win for my finances.
