NQ was extremely bouncy early in the session. Big intra-candle swings made it tough to find a clean entry that fit my strategy while keeping risk at 10 points or less.
I got impatient, chased one, and submitted my order as price was moving away from my stop. Ended up risking 12.25 points instead of my max 10. Price then hit my stop just 9 seconds later.
The lesson is simple. No chasing, especially on high intra-candle volatility days.
Execution error was 100% on me, but that's an easy fix.
Glad I still kept the red day small and under control.
Back at it next week. 🫡

One and done for the day.
One of my best trades in a while.
Had a short bias and entered at market open using about a 1:6R.
Got stopped out on my first entry so we entered again.
Taking this and moving on with the day.
Work, pushups, and caffeine on the menu today.

Was bullish for the Data Wick, but the 5m FVG disagreed.
My HTF bias was solid, but I didn’t find a clean enough entry. We swept the 1H sellside and formed a 5m CISD.
Glad I taperead it today. It was a good decision and a valuable learning session.
Still not a big fan of NFP days tbh, but I know that’s mostly a skill issue on my end.

I'm not the type to marry a bias, but… This daily chart looks like a clean retracement. Nice NWOG + OB at the C.E. I’m taking the day off like I planned, but I think the next couple of days could get interesting 👀 Wish you all good luck today!

Reflection and feedback days are one of the most important things we can do for long term progress. AI definitely helps a lot, but I try to use it as „little“ as possible. For summaries or working efficiency though, it’s a really good tool.

Today’s mission: Deep journal the last couple of weeks, review my trades, and reset mentally.
Been feeling super grateful lately. Starting the day with a strong espresso and good house music.

Don't give up on trading until you’ve built a proper system and followed it with discipline for at least a year. You may have what it takes and it takes time to see if you have the needed skills.

I’m on a massive green day streak right now and honestly this is the scariest part of my trading because I know when I take an L and price action truly sucks I will have to log off the chart
It’s going to happen and I need to prepare myself emotionally for when it does
