Now that I’m back in the homeland (and since we moved to the States almost 9 years ago), I’ve noticed something: The impact of “no pesticide ordinances” in urban centres (Ottawa, Saskatoon, and Prince Alberta) 👇🏻Public spaces are FILLED with dandelions. Dandelions are a non-native, invasive species. While these ordinances might make some people FEEL better and the politicians who push for them may win favour with a public who continues to lean into misinformation about pesticides, I suspect that if dandelions are not managed they will create problems for the environment, sustainability, and biodiversity. Again (for those in the back) dandelions are a non-native, invasive species.

@drantbradley The reformed tradition seems to be especially vulnerable to politics and cultural divide. An almost singular focus on doctrine leaves many seemingly unable to translate a Biblical ethic to everyday life, rather adopting the prevailing popular 'conservative' views of the day.
