I want to experience all the beautiful things of life

I met a Nigerian man here in Texas, he’s actually same tribe as me. He left Nigeria 14 years ago, when his second child was 2 and his first child was 4. His first child is now 18 years old as of 2026, and he is still here in the U.S. Meanwhile, his wife is still in Nigeria, waiting for him. 14 good years… Omo

Yesterday, February 14th, should have been a day filled with joy and celebration as my dad turned 60. Instead of gathering the whole family for new photos, laughter, and cake, I could only pull out an old picture from healthier, happier times when he was strong, full of life, and still carrying us all on his shoulders. Seeing that photo next to the reality of his condition right now broke something inside me. Dad is fighting so hard every single day against this brain tumor. The pain is getting worse, the tumor keeps growing, and watching him suffer quietly at home unable to do the simple things he used to love has been the hardest thing our family has ever faced. We were hoping to give him the gift of surgery for his 60th, but we're still so far from the ₦20 million needed. Time is slipping away, and every day without help feels like we're losing a little more of him. Happy 60th Birthday, Dad. You’ve given us everything; your love, your sacrifices, your strength. Now it’s our turn to fight for you. I pray God wraps you in His healing, restores your health, and gives you many more years to see your grandchildren grow, to laugh with us again, and to be the pillar you've always been. To everyone who has donated so far—thank you from the depths of my heart. Your kindness has kept hope alive. To those who can still help, even with the smallest amount, please know that every naira brings us closer to getting him into surgery and giving him a real chance to come back to us. Eshe gan o 🙏🏾🙌🏾 God bless you all abundantly. Donation details: Account Number: 1864589153 Bank: Access Bank Account Name: Luke Lanre Oladimeji Please share this if you can. Tag anyone who might be able to support. Your help could literally save his life.
