@HYDTP @AnujGurwara these E-challans fail to deter chronic offenders due to lack of follow-up mechanism.This auto has 18 pending challans from 2022. Are @HYDTP traffic authorities failing by just handing out e-challans ? Are they dodging their actual enforcement duties ?

Kind attn: @HYDTP Traffic violation at Lakdi-ka-Pul going towards Masab Tank. 17 May 2026 2.01PM Auto: AP09TB2122 I blocked him to not let him go the wrong way but vehicles were piling up behind. When I told him I have a dash cam, he said “do whatever you want”.

Whenever I talk about the need for compulsory Driver Education, there are some who will always quote 3 or 4 basic rules and think that’s what Driver Education is all about 💁🏽‍♂️ The rules they usually refer to are, red light jumping, wrong side Driving, over speeding, no helmet etc. Which some people knowingly break. But most accidents happen due to NOT knowing other rules like right-of-way, lane discipline, double solid lines, MSM, not keeping 2- second following distance, not understanding shoulder, I can go on. Guys, we need to move from kindergarten to 10th standard at least. Those four or five basic rules are KG class, & should be handled by enforcement. Those are people knowingly breaking rules. Let’s help the people breaking rules unknowingly, and save them. 👍 #roadsafety

@TopDriverIndia There is no formal education on blind spots of larger vehicles or the catastrophic consequences of wrong side driving. Normalisation of deviance ; dangerous practices have become so common that it is no longer seen as deviant. 3/4

@TopDriverIndia without actual rigorous testing of hazard perception.Most motorists are taught how to operate a vehicle,not how to share a road.(driving schools are to be equally blamed incase of 4 wheelers) Many drivers do not understand the physics of a head on collision at combined speeds.2/4

@TopDriverIndia Very true. Education gap is much deeper than what is typically acknowledged. It’s not just knowing that a red light means stop. It’s about risk perception & hazard anticipation.Due to licensing loopholes for years, we have many drivers on road 1/4

@HYDTP @shotr_jhills Do customers of the establishments along Peddammagudi metro station have any special parking privileges ? Even during peak traffic hours, a row is occupied by the vehicles block a part of roadway, very next to Jubilee Hills PS.

@HYDTP @shotr_bhills @HYDTP I hope your @shotr_bhills team will address the concern about the road divider, before someone gets into an accident. (I have seen even BMW cars driving on the wrong side, just like along two wheelers)

@HYDTP please relook into the position of road divider on road 7 Banjara hills. Road being wide on one side of divider, many 2 & 4 wheelers take wrong route as you can see in this video. This is almost blind spot for vehicles coming from opposite direction

@HYDTP @shojubileehills Most Chaotic traffic junction (between metro pillars C 1735 & C 1736) on Hitech City & Durgam cheruvu road,staffed by one helpless police officer.Crossing this busy intersection is incredibly stressful,unless someone drives senselessly like this 2 wheeler.

@HYDTP @shotr_jhills At Neerus junction (from Madhapur PS towards Madhapur metro station), I could see only 5 no’s four wheelers crossing green signal in assigned ~45 sec.Please study traffic patterns & reevaluate the green signal timing

No of vehicles violating stop line after yellow light turning to Red on rd no 36 Jubilee hills @HYDTP @shojubileehills Due to road curvatures & metropillars,movement of vehicles going towards Metro station is generally slow. Consider increasing green signal by few more seconds

@SajjanarVC_IPS Sir, Why traffic police cannot seize vehicles or book cases against such violators. 23 pending challans on this two wheeler from 2022 & many violations might have gone unnoticed. @HYDTP @CYBTRAFFIC have no follow-up mechanism except randomly checking on roads.

@AstroSharmistha ji, You are unstoppable by the grace of Hanuman ji 🙏. Though it is matter of concern, people of WB have to embrace the situation for next 2.5 years and look forward for Golden Bengal

@HYDTP have allowed violators to normalise wrong side driving in Hyd. Driving on wrong side from Care hospital/Sakshi bldg to ANR centre on Rd no 1 is quite normal, like many areas of Hyd. Look at this 2 wheeler risking family members to danger..You can see few more on wrong side

@CYBTRAFFIC @HYDTP I was fortunate enough to see ONLY two vehicles in wrong direction today (TS 28 3296 with 22 pending challans & other one doesn’t need number plate) from C1708 to C1712. You have no follow up mechanism for unpaid challans. Confiscate such vehicles.

@Ponnam_INC Sir, Absurd to permit electric two wheelers which do not require RTO registration & HSRP on the roads of Hyderabad (though CMVR 1989 permits them) Invariably you will find them driving on wrong side with mobile phone in hand. @HYDTP @CYBTRAFFIC 1/2

@Ponnam_INC Spoke a violator who rides in wrong side frequently on such tow wheeler. Violators are confident that @HYDTP @CYBTRAFFIC can not track them & issue challans as their vehicles have no number plate
