What stands out to me about Ayyoub Bouaddi every time I watch him play is how good he is at breaking up play. He doesn’t look the strongest in terms of his physical profile but he uses his body really well. Has decent pace for a midfielder and he’s good at pressing/closing down his opponents. Out of midfielders in Ligue 1 who average seven defensive duels per 90, Bouaddi has the best success rate (65.25%). For a team that wants to be aggressive in their press, he’s an ideal profile. He can cover a lot of distances and a make a lot of recovery runs. I still think there’s a lot of room for him to improve on the ball. That will ultimately determine how high his ceiling is. At 18, what he’s done so far is very impressive, though.

So we can't afford the scale of money (of the order of $100+ billion to even get in the game!) and even if we could come up with the money, we can't get all the GPUs. I would not like to ask the government to fund tens of billions of dollars on this anyway - the money has far better uses. Zoho has been pursuing alternative R&D approaches that are far, far less expensive but by its nature cutting edge R&D takes time and we are patient. I am confident we will get there. Any remaining people in India who have delusions about globalization should wake up now.
