College football playoff reform suggestions — (1) both teams that make the conference championship game of the power 4 conferences are in the playoffs, they are playing for a conference championship, seeding, and a 1st round bye, (2) next eight at least one of whom must be from a non power 4 conference play in a play-in game (higher seed hosts), (3) higher seed hosts until national championship game, (4) switch to mathematical formula for rankings, and (5) refine that formula before the start of each season to improve it
