Ole Miss’ starter to begin last season before getting hurt, giving way to the legend of Trinidad Chambliss. Simmons was lights out in a TD drive vs. Georgia two years ago while subbing for an injured Jaxson Dart. Now Simmons gets his shot at Mizzou.

Takes me back 40-plus years. Sandwiches just as good (even at noon and not 2 in the morning). Clint Eastwood posters and signed pictures of former Vols survived the fire and are still on the wall. Only difference is 40-ounce brews in the bottle have been replaced by cans. And, yes, Slim Dog still has an open tab.

Tee Martin is already on campus at LSU and will work closely with OC Charlie Weis Jr. Martin took over as the Baltimore Ravens’ QB coach in 2023, and Lamar Jackson was the NFL MVP in 23 and All Pro in 24. He had more than 9,500 total yards and 71 combined TDs those two seasons.

Martin was first hired at USC by @Lane_Kiffin as WR coach. They worked together there in 2012-13 and have maintained a close relationship. Martin’s NFL background, OC experience at USC and overall feel for the SEC adds to what is already a strong offensive staff at LSU.
