@Praythelor35675 it depends on the week on a slow week, an album might be good enough to be #1 on a more busy week, you might be ranked #3 yet have higher sales that week One thing is charts are vanity metrics, the artists want paid. (Charts CAN be promotional: #1 now means play this MORE later)

@hlarryious Do you have like a link I can read on how This whole charts thing works cause I never get it I be seeing some musicians do bigger numbers than others and chart higher? But the other chart lower even tho they do the same numbers? it’s very confusing to me

@Praythelor35675 Couple of reasons: - the big fans would have bought a fancy vinyl or bought it several days ago - no physical cost (shipping, CD) - $4.99 is equivalent to 5000+ streaming plays (250 hrs of streaming to get same pennies💰) -gets new fans hooked🐂🤘🏽, in the door, into the fandom
