@realtedclemens @BDSMSIX I use neesh (niche) as the adjective form, and nitch (niche) as a noun. It’s like: That’s a rare, esoteric topic. That’s neesh. This is her nest 🪺 of knowledge. She’s built a nitch for crocheted sweaters.

@BDSMSIX Nitch is the more traditional American pronunciation especially for science, though both are correct and neesh is used for artistic contexts more. Neesh has become more common in the last generation

@kateturnt @_chase_____ Even if you check beforehand and get the exact insurance that the doctor takes, they might say “yes we DO take that! but we can’t process it, for administrative reasons… thus we can’t take it and can’t see you, for months!” it’s January, you JUST signed up for *that* insurance

if ur new to health insurance one important piece of advice is to not get the one that no one takes. u might be surprised that this even exists but it does & all the doctors offices will be like “ugh sry we don’t take that one :( that’s the one no one takes”

@OneWith_TheIris they’re using light form of the word, but the subversion there is: it’s HIS film. [So when he talks about “Will I get fired by ⚪️ guy?”, he’s the boss. it’s mentioned being bad (you’ll get fired), but also still shown on screen, many times.] - comedians often subvert/rulebreak

@OneWith_TheIris I’m also not advocating for reclamation here, especially on those harsh words But I’ve seen it done in *some* ways The film Top Five w Chris R ock/K evin H art has black men discussing if they’d get fired for saying a word, and they keep saying it They’re overusing it, as effect

To piggy back off what my moot. Saying a slur bc you belong in said community is NOT reclaiming. Reclaiming is to changed the meaning from negative to positive. Y’all are NOT calling others or yourself the r word in a positive light.

what I mean is imagine IF it was all about artists suggesting other artists to listen to, and imagine if event show: “listen to these great 5-8 albums in this genre this year, check them ALL out” Rather than “this one is slightly better than the rest”, w💰campaigns, twitter wars

@OneWith_TheIris @cutesy_kuromiii Both of them aren’t always used in reclaimed ways So it depends on context how it’s used. Using a word as friendly greeting; as positive; as proud statement; as something that doesn’t hurt/demean affected persons. ✅ Subverting its harm. ✅ Using it as an insult on others. ❌

@cutesy_kuromiii I'd agree for nigga since it's a slang based of the actual N-slur. But idk about majority for the bitch, It is still used very derogatory and used as a source of oppression in the world. what would the reclaimed/"positive" definition for bitch? /genq

@frerardie Yikes, You’re now literally insulting people’s pronouns, after arguing against the subject’s preferred pronouns and taking in bad faith someone who described that sometimes in language, “they” gets used to mean “everyone should get called they”

A trans man from Idaho has given a devastating breakdown of their life under a potential “bathroom bill” that is up for vote. Nixon Matthews spoke at an 11 March hearing on House Bill 752, telling legislators: “I want to walk through what this looks like for me.” The bill passed on Monday (16 March) and is now headed to the Idaho Senate.

@nyanqueer_wren @Passi0nfruitz And to make it clear, Jim Crow laws were far worse than 2020s Even today’s anti-trans bathroom discrimination is primarily targeted at Black women It’s just anyone in 2026 going “separate bathrooms! Segregated bathrooms!” is a NOT-safe person who knows no history/wants violence.

@nyanqueer_wren @Passi0nfruitz The trans bathroom segregation concept is recycled: it’s Jim Crow bathroom concept, they had reheated it for “lesbians in the bathroom” hate in the 1990s, and repurposed it again in 2015 A Black lesbian during NC’s ban wrote about her view on it being copied prejudice tactics.

@frerardie @LexiBl1ss @PinkNews That isn’t what was said You cooked up waffles from Lexi’s explanation, to get mad at what Lexi did NOT say. In this situation, the man you’re pretending to care about has “they” pronouns, so they is correct usage. Raise awareness of the bill rather than fight the right pronouns.

@frerardie @LexiBl1ss @PinkNews They is the preferred pronoun here. 💜 You’re arguing for people to NOT be called the pronoun they do prefer. Gender isn’t 1-for-1 with pronouns, it’s not required that all men use “he” pronouns. They can use whatever pronouns they like. He uses two pronoun options - they / he

@frerardie @gleebzoinko @PinkNews Their name is spelled wrong – Nikson Mathews, not Nixon – but “they” is a preferred pronoun, and they are a man (as mentioned in speech) He is also a pronoun available for Nikson, and he is a man. Here’s a local newscast using rotating pronouns for them. youtu.be/IrZh3Sc0nd0

@starboltzz @catgirlcrisis This! That’s the issue here You can’t write that you hate all trans men, which means hating them for transitioning! then think you’re safe from critique of that idea, while literally writing “all men are bad” & “hate” (Hating patriarchy ≠ ANTI-TRANS gender HATE essentialism)

@catgirlcrisis I have a disdain for most men but when I say I hate men I'm specifically talking about a very specific type of man She hates boys and men for simply being born and trans men too for transitioning. That's a little bit extreme?

im tired of MRA bullshit coming from inside the lgbt community and idk why op is getting bitched at by men for saying it doesnt like men. like you people cant think of one reason why a trans lesbian wouldnt like men. wooow Leave lesbians alone for a change maybe?
Autumn 🍂@doggygoth

saw someone going “if misandrists really believe all men are bad then they’re TERFs too” and well so no because I don’t actually view trans women as men so they don’t get included in my hate towards men it’s really super simple actually

@doggygoth Anybody reading the replies, can you help me find where Autumn “multiple times” in the replies “did clarify” that the post was about hate of cıs men only? That there was no ill-intent or (quote) “dislike” of trans men, when asked if this was meant to be antitransmasculinity, too?

@doggygoth @nyanqueer_wren ‘I hate men’ “=*not trans men. Solidarity” is still 😒, inexact wording choices but it at LEAST shows there’s no malice There’s ppl who say they want trans men dead bc they have the word “men” trans men are societally oppressed by govt + healthcare, not patriarchal oppressors

@doggygoth @nyanqueer_wren You could fix understanding in the clarification? you know those tweets: “please don’t say he/she, when they/them exists!” then they clarify: “I mean in plural contexts of “he/she will arrive tomorrow on forms and legal and book settings, not personal pronouns! Sorry!”

Pretty sure they were likely talking about self-proclaimed misandrists who think manhood is inherently evil... Yes, that IS bioessentialist TERF rhetoric that we need to get rid of altogether. 🫩
