@CanadianCe @ASUS @ASUS_ROGNA If budget is no issue, it's the best monitor on the market for sure. The only huge risk is "greyscale banding," but mine showed up perfectly.

I finally made the leap to my first OLED monitor (Asus PG27AQWP-W) after much patience. Although it’s taken time to adjust to the 27 inches, it hasn’t disappointed. Between the 1440p, 540Hz, glossy coating, colors, & motion clarity, we’ve at last entered no-compromise territory.

@Precellence @ASUS @ASUS_ROGNA Really? I’ve always been hesitant to try OLED because I keep seeing people say their monitor got burn-in within a few weeks.

@Sinddo_ @ASUS @ASUS_ROGNA I wouldn't necessarily say that since I think I'm playing around the same, if not better on this. OLEDs have roughly 1.5x the motion clarity of an LCD panel at the same frame rate, not to mention an overall lower input lag too. The big debate is 24 inches vs 27 inches imo.

@Sinddo_ @ASUS @ASUS_ROGNA I’m coming from an Asus 540Hz TN panel, a BenQ equivalent w/o DyAc 2 and really wanted to finally experience an OLED, especially 1440p and the colors. If I was competing, the BenQ would make sense tho.

@demyuun 13700k, will probably get either the next-gen Intel or Ryzen but honestly, the 13700k is still extremely solid. And no, I don't but I know about it.

@CommonCD @ASUS @ASUS_ROGNA Not on Amazon yet, but on Best Buy and Newegg. There are certainly cheaper options for similar OLEDs, especially in the $700-800 range. A risk with these can be something called "grayscale banding," but mine showed up pretty perfect. newegg.com/asus-pg27aqwp-…

@demyuun @ASUS @ASUS_ROGNA Obviously I’m not hitting 540 on anything but OW, MCC, and Val, but I’m really enjoying the experience overall and there’s much room to upgrade to GPU in the future. 1440p is so nice on single player games too.

@Gamesager Loved seeing this data yesterday and how Halo isn't the only game dealing w/ extreme controller aim assist relative to mouse aim. The overall gaslighting and ignorance can get pretty laughable.

We really live in a world where the fps space is in a similar situation to if you tried to go bowling but every single bowling alley had the gutter rails up at all times. Theres no way to fix it either because people are so used to playing as if they’re 5x better than they are.
