Admitting that you’re perfectly ok with a lobbying group — which spends unfathomable amounts of money supporting candidates who gleefully fund war crimes — spending $50M to really stick it to a Twitch streamer is a really brave thing to admit

Allowing poorly trained agents to roam our streets, kick down doors without warrants, and shoot people dead in the street is state-sanctioned violence—not immigration policy. The Trump admin must release all information related to these shootings, and we need independent investigations into each. These shootings are not inevitable. They are a policy choice being made by Donald Trump and Senate Republicans.

Trying to tar Abdul as sexist without any basis whatsoever, except a vague and unexplained link to Platner, is I think a catastrophic decision for groups like EMILY’s List. The $50+ million may end up winning them the race but at a huge cost. (It’s also on a moral level wrong to do.)
