It's worth continuously considering the EV of burning the supply vs an airdrop, which creates potential sell pressure. When valuing HYPE, you should try to price in the probability that burn occurs. The only true metric is market cap - the literal dollars in HYPE. At $14b, that is less than DOGE, TRON, SOL, and COIN. It's 5% of ETH market cap.

okay so the hyperliquid announcement is omega giga bullish and there are enough tldr's around for you to read the basics but here are my favourite parts: - the core team clearly has high leverage even with the biggest players in the game as they secure a deal with extremely favourable terms - one of the biggest friction points (bridging to HL) will soon be direct through circle's cross-chain protocol - hard to describe how big of a win this is from a regulatory standpoint just before the clarity act is likely to pass. two of the most scrutinised and regulation-friendly teams just threw a massive amount of reputation and money at HL right before it goes through the senate. that timing isn't an accident - this deal reaffirms the HL team remains extremely aligned with the growth of the token and redistributing the wealth created on chain back to users - there are no 'leaks' in the HL team, in crypto it's very common to see tokens outperforming into unknown announcements, $HYPE has been bleeding coming into this announcement - there is no other chain where increasing TVL feeds directly into token increase, $HYPE now does this announcement really helps smooth over the bear cases and creates an even higher ceiling for the bull cases hyperliquid will be the house of all finance and all others will be competing through builder codes hyperliquid

from a pure business strategy lens, me thinks Hyperliquid executed this exceptionally well. USDH was basically a weaponized opportunity that created a credible competition. Native Markets won the auction for the USDH ticker in late 2025 and launched a fully backed native stablecoin where 100% of the yield goes toward hyperliquid:native buybacks. that directly threatened the estimated $150M–$200M yearly yield revenue Circle/Coinbase were extracting from the $5B–$6B USDC sitting on HL. fast forward to today and they were basically forced to the table to align with Hyperliquid’s economic structure. the entire lifecycle of USDH from launch to sunset should be studied across crypto Hyperliquid.

People - very little “selling” of crypto over the last weeks. The pressure to the south is from degenerate shorting. Retail are gamblers. They are not investors. @BenRabidoux Even if sales have bottomed, it doesn't mean prices will rise much, or if at all. Especially for condos. Way too much resale inventory for anyone to consume. If anything, we will see prices stop falling as aggressively. No one really wants to buy new builds due to their quality.
