I have 2 rifles in my safe. One is an AR-15 .223 The other is a Lee Enfield .303 Which one is an ‘assault rifle’ Which is a ‘weapon of war’ Which one was used by the military?

@GotJuiceCTD @AR15_OrdCorps Gun Jesus tends to talk out of his ass sometimes. You can watch his videos about original AR-15s and observe how they are all select fire, though.

@Pregumin_ @AR15_OrdCorps I thought at one point Gun Jesus stated it was Armalight Rifle pattern 15. I’d have to go back and see, perhaps I am mis remembering.

@GotJuiceCTD @AR15_OrdCorps No. Here's Eugene Stoner explaining what actually happened. youtu.be/kaIU0nCxwGg?si… The development of the AR-15 began when Gen. Wyman approached him about creating a small caliber military rifle for the SCHV program.

@Pregumin_ @AR15_OrdCorps The Army did not directly request Eugene Stoner to make an AR15. The Army put out a request for a new rifle for their military. Stoner already had the Semi-automatic AR 15 in development when the call was issued from the military.

@GotJuiceCTD @AR15_OrdCorps Also it isn't "Armalite Rifle" (they made shotguns that also had the AR prefix) It most likely meant ARmalite or Armalite Research. But a definitive answer isn't known.

@GotJuiceCTD @AR15_OrdCorps Cool. Armalite (fairchild) designed the AR-15 explicitly due to a request from the US Army. Every single AR-15 that they produced was a fully automatic assault rifle.

@AR15_OrdCorps AR15’s are civilian semi auto only firearms. The M16 is what the Military used. The M16 is a select fire rifle. The AR15 is not.

@Pregumin_ No. You are retarded for not reading the question properly. It’s right there in black and white. Your mistake. Be a man and own it.

@thefutabomber password manager solves this. The real issue is unimportant apps all requiring 2FA now.

I hate when unimportant apps need fort knox level passwords. Why the fuck do i need an uncrackable cipher to protect my *checks notes* chicken salad rewards points? My bank has less requirements for a password

I need to get a new mouse. This one is double clicking sometimes when I tap the button, and other times I have to press it 2 or 3 times for it to register a click.

As a user, it's simple. I open the @X app. Here's what I hope to see — and I suspect many of you do too: 1. Great, informative, useful, or entertaining content (by humans, machines, or companies) 2. Real, authentic — even “boring” — posts from the people and networks I actually care about 3. No spam, bad bots, or reply farming As an X employee who uses it every day, I believe we’re actively building toward exactly this. Does this match what you want when you open X?

Update: After losing at the Ninth Circuit twice, California conceded in court today that the marketing ban violates the First Amendment, and will pay nearly $1.4 million in attorneys' fees to the groups that challenged the law.
Gavin Newsom@GavinNewsom

This is an AR-15. A weapon of war. The gun industry is openly marketing these to KIDS. With cartoons and mini JR-15s. These don’t belong in the hands of our kids or on our streets. I just signed 2 bills that ban ghost guns and these sick marketing ploys.
