@dylanbo @taggartvanetten The 10g/kg for a sub 40 minute time trial is nuts. For my 70kg body, that's 2800 Cal. But I guess that kind of effort nearly drains their glycogen stores, so they need to top up for the next day.

Ran a couple miles with a wheel barrow today because it just made more sense to me to go by Lowe's & get it on my run instead of driving back there afterwards. Does this mean I'm a crossfitter now?

@aidstationfireb @colecrosby41 I run them in wide. For reference, I think Topo makes the best shaped shoes on the market - I have a wide forefoot with blocky toes and a narrowish heel. Challengers in wide have been my new England winter road runner, dirt road runner, and occasional light trail shoe for years.

@colecrosby41 Seems to be the one most tend to recommend - how do you find the box/width in these? I’ve struggled with Hoka on these aspects previously (having run in the Speedgoat 5s/Cliftons)

What road-to-trail shoes are people digging right now? Looking for something that I can use on roads en route to lightly technical East coast trails. Currently using Salomon Ultra Glide, but looking for alternatives.

@MrORuns I'm so very familiar :) my two month old is now getting 6-7 hour first sleeps! It gets better! Now I just need to learn to go to bed at 7:30 like my kids 🙄.
