@mathieuvdpoel took the Maglia Rosa yesterday. Impressed, not surprised. He dug deep over last 6min! Highest HR I've seen for him during a race so far. Being the MvDP Strava data stalker I am, that's saying something. Nearly 500W avg final 6min despite uneven distribution

@maesrichard1 Only calculating it here not using it for training/ prediction so just peak power output minus 5 minute power (used as a proxy in the field for power output at V̇O2max). Good paper for prediction model researchgate.net/publication/32…

Nice to get this confirmation.I will be presenting at the @ScienceCycling conference in Copenhagen alongside experts from the competitive cycling world. I will present findings on the knowledge and attitudes of competitive @UCI_cycling cyclists around sports related concussion.
