Read this IE story to see how Phogat became overweight after her semi final win. She was given some ORS by the Indian officials which increased her weight to 52.7 Kg! They expected her to shed 2.7Kg overnight for which she was made to workout the whole night! Negligence! Wilful?

@WeDravidians bro its totally illogical when your body is depleted due to weight cut. even a extra tumbler of water can increase the weight of athelete. and loosing further weight from that depleted situation is a herculeantask

It is impossible to gain 2.3 kg weight (through fat or water) in one day. 1 kg fat ~ 8000 kcal 2.3 kg fat ~ 18,400 kcal. Considering other factors like thermic effect, one should eat food worth 20,000 kcal (above maintenance calories) in one day to gain 2.3 kg fat. It is equivalent to eating 8 kg mutton or 10 kg chicken or 18 kg rice or 200 apples in one day. It is humanly impossible. The weight increase must have come from water. This is also impossible in one day unless until there is acute renal or liver or lung issue. There is something really fishy. The entire support team must be arrested and enquired. -Eswar

It’s an odd world when Kolkata is considered a “Metro” but Bangalore is not. The current list of 4 Metros is only half-relevant: Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai and Kolkata. Kolkata and Chennai need to go. Bangalore needs to come in. And Pune/Hyderabad should be the other.
