Following a request through Emergency Management Ontario, the team installed 760 feet of flood barrier where rising river levels had begun to overflow onto nearby roads and threaten the town’s sewage system. This response was made possible in partnership with @PreparedON.

From Chapleau, Fire Chief Graham Bertrand shared how this spring flood is affecting his community. Working alongside @PreparedON, GlobalMedic’s RRT laid out flood barriers to redivert river water overflow and protect key areas, including the town’s water and sanitary systems.
