Happy New Year to all our fellow Pakistanis! The Ahmadiyya Community Pakistan prays for a blessed 2026. Our prayer is to see our beloved Pakistan in such a condition every individual feels safe and valued, regardless of their faith or background.

From the desecration of 90 Ahmadi graves in Rhoda (May 2025) to this targeted shooting, a clear pattern of persecution is evident. Authorities must urgently identify, arrest, and prosecute those behind this hate to prevent further violence.

The violence in Khushab is systematic. Prior to the attack, mobs surrounded Virk’s home, while his family’s long-standing business was subjected to social and economic boycott. Collective punishment and intimidation on religious grounds is blatant discrimination. @HRCP87

The tragedy in Piro Chak is yet another reminder: Pakistan’s Ahmadis remain painfully vulnerable, despite their loyalty to the country. The state must enforce the law, punish the perpetrators, and ensure minorities are protected from violence fueled by hate. @OfficialDPRPP

Police have registered FIR No. 1552/25, naming 31 accused and hundreds of unidentified attackers under serious charges of attempted Murder (324 PPC) & terrorism (7 ATA). The test for the government is whether these charges will lead to justice, or fade away like so many before.

On Sept 28, a mob attacked on Ahmadi homes in Piro Chak (PS Moutra, Sialkot), burning tractor, a car & shop. 6 Ahmadis were injured, including Zahiruddin Babar who suffered a gunshot wound to the leg. The community strongly condemns this violence. @GovtofPunjabPK @GovtofPakistan
