The team is observing how care for preterm babies begins at the neonatal unit and how families are prepared for follow-up support after discharge. The session is also giving them an opportunity to understand the importance of early care and caregiver support.

Today, the team from Kikapu Garden Kenya is joining Preterm Infants Parents Network Uganda to learn how we follow up preterm babies within communities. We are starting from the office by introducing them to the step-by-step follow-up process before moving into the field.
