Deee-Lite - Groove Is in the Heart (1990) All time classic! Fun, quirky & utterly infectious to this day. Also features the legendary Bootsy Collins providing guest vocals + there's a rap courtesy of Q-Tip of A Tribe Called Quest. A worldwide major club and commercial hit. 🕺

The ageism on social media is wild! Most recently, a young woman saying that men aged 40 or above shouldn’t go to live music events because it’s ’weird’. Really? Go fuck yourself. People, whatever their age, can enjoy whatever music they want to. And I’ll say nothing about the young folk prancing about in their Nirvana t-shirts who can’t name the bass player or name more than two songs off ‘Nevermind’.

In the world of the Bond song, I think All Time High by Rita Coolidge from Octopussy has to be the most underrated. It’s a beautiful song.

Watching Laila Cunningham @policylaila on #PoliticsLive just now is proof enough that she hasn't got the capability to be put in charge of even a used bus ticket. Does she actually have any policies? I'm afraid @reformparty_uk in London is just a collection of failed Tories like her with sidekicks in Kensington numbering an ex-porno actress. A pathetic performance I must say by a dozy dimwit.

Luke Mitchell Official Campaign
On 14 April 2004, Luke Mitchell was taken into custody at just 15 years old — a child. 8036 days. 264 months. 22 years. A boy taken from his family. A childhood stolen. A future put on hold. From that very first day, he has said the same thing - “I am innocent, I did not kill Jodi” Not once has he wavered. Not once has he changed his account. Not once has he broken under the weight of it all, despite being called a liar and despite the authorities ignoring a consistency that has lasted for over two decades. Because the truth doesn’t need rehearsed. It doesn’t shift. It doesn’t crack over time. But Luke wasn’t the only one who stood firm. His mother stood with him — and still does. She has never wavered from her account either, despite being called a liar and facing immense pressure. She was charged, and then those charges were dropped. So how can someone still be labelled a liar when the very accusation used to discredit them is abandoned? It raises a serious question - was that pressure meant to break her, to force her to change her story? If it was, it failed. She didn’t change it then. She hasn’t changed it now. And she never will. This isn’t just Luke’s sentence. His family have been serving one too — 22 years of prison visits instead of family life, 22 years of missed birthdays, 22 years of living with the pain of watching someone they love fight to be heard and ignored. A child was taken. A family was fractured. And still, they endure. Through it all, Luke has remained strong - and that strength has carried his family, and now it’s bringing more people together who refuse to look away. Because the question remains: how does someone maintain innocence for 22 years without a single crack? And how do those closest to him stand by that same truth, without ever wavering? And how do the people who review potential miscarriages of Justice ignore the biggest and most high profile miscarriage of justice that’s staring them in the face? Why no one in authority acts is a question I will never understand. This isn’t over. It never was. #JusticeForLuke
