On the same day, Maine Senators @SenAngusKing @SenatorCollins and some Democrats/Independent @SenJackyRosen @Sen_JoeManchin @SenatorTester @SenatorSinema joined other Republicans to pass the Kennedy Amendment that would PREVENT veterans who are ineligible to purchase guns from being entered into the National Instant Criminal Background Check Sytem. This amendment must be stripped from the FY24 appropriations to protect the lives of our children and our loved ones.
