5 years ago, 8 people were senselessly shot and killed at 3 different spas in Atlanta. When guns are easily accessible, racism, misogyny, and hatred is made that much more lethal. We can honor the victims and survivors by taking action to #DisarmHate.

7 yrs ago yesterday, a white supremacist with an assault weapon murdered 51 people in Christchurch, New Zealand. A nationwide ban on military-style assault weapons was quickly passed. It’s clear that an assault weapon ban works – we must demand our lawmakers take action!

61 years ago, John Lewis led marchers in Selma, AL. Being met with brutality by law enforcement, the day was pivotal for racial justice and securing voting rights for Black Americans. We can't truly be free from gun violence until everyone can fairly participate in our democracy.
