@CampaignFDJ A well thought through response. I'd hoped it'd mention that work related conditionality would be a breach of the Equality Act- Policy that makes life worse for disabled people. Access to Work failed, was never fit for purpose. A specialist team is needed if it ever has a chance.

@FormbyBubble Time for all key stakeholders to get together, arrange a full ground survey, consult engineers on cause, how to stabilize and best materials to backfill.

@rtanchor @Shrink_at_Large Not true. The DWP's own report on Fraudulent claims, published last year, found 0.2% in PIP claims, 10% in UC. But you just keep the propaganda going.

@Shrink_at_Large Truth is, there is so much fraud and scamming of the system that those in genuine need often lose out.

@CampaignFDJ Determination for the cause is important & you do great work. My worry is UK Govt, especially Timms, have one goal, reducing costs. It should be about improving support, as advised by UN for the past 15 years or so. What use are Rights when they are just ignored?

@PriceyBeans We hear your frustrations. We should be making progress, not stepping backwards. We know that society can be more inclusive and that employers can and do have an important role in making it so. We're a determined bunch, we won't stop until things change!

Everyone who would like to work should have an equal chance, but some employers are reluctant to employ Disabled people The Gov wants fewer Disabled people to receive support. Meanwhile 28% of Disabled people have been pushed into poverty Let's change it buff.ly/Ew4oItM

@peterjharvey @UKLabour Many of us didn't vote for you this time because you fail to respond to the people in your Ward. Sadly, you're the best of a bad bunch, which isn't a positive.

@FormbyBubble So many places have closed in the past 5 years or so. Replaced by Pubs, Cafes, Betting shops, Charity Shops, cheap home item places. Where's the Parish Council to protect the Village? There's only so much it can take before saturation.

@Shrink_at_Large Gov & DWP are determined to cut medical experts from medical benefit claims, to reject as many as they can. How is it legal for non medical staff to make medical decisions? To stop GP sick notes & specialist consultant opinions? I don't recognise this once humanitarian country.

The DWP is trialling an even worse assessment system on 150,000 PIP claimants. Af the moment, DWP employed healthcare professionals make the decisions on scoring - already a disaster rating conditions they often don’t understand. In this trial, it won’t even be professionals! 😱

@PriceyBeans So much of this chimes with many things we've seen. We'll share a little something on it soon, and the steps we're taking to start changing it.

Young people should get a chance to thrive at work, but Disabled young people who are able to work, and looking for opportunities, are missing from this announcement. The Government must include people facing the most barriers, to lift everyone up.

@dailybritainonx Yes, contractual obligations like any job. Also, being an MP is too lucrative, attracting people for the wrong reasons who abuse the position to line their own pockets. Should have to live by the rules they set. Min Wage, pay their own bills. That would attract the right people.

MP attendance petition hits 10,000. No legal minimum attendance requirement exists. Same week Farage's 77 consecutive missed votes were revealed - bottom 8% of all MPs, worst in Reform. £100,000 salary. Should Parliament have statutory attendance rules? 👇

One of the grimmest political tricks of the last 15 years has been convincing the public that disabled people are a bigger economic threat than tax avoidance, private outsourcing failures, or housing costs.
