@CampaignFDJ A well thought through response. I'd hoped it'd mention that work related conditionality would be a breach of the Equality Act- Policy that makes life worse for disabled people. Access to Work failed, was never fit for purpose. A specialist team is needed if it ever has a chance.

@Shrink_at_Large Gov & DWP are determined to cut medical experts from medical benefit claims, to reject as many as they can. How is it legal for non medical staff to make medical decisions? To stop GP sick notes & specialist consultant opinions? I don't recognise this once humanitarian country.

The DWP is trialling an even worse assessment system on 150,000 PIP claimants. Af the moment, DWP employed healthcare professionals make the decisions on scoring - already a disaster rating conditions they often don’t understand. In this trial, it won’t even be professionals! 😱

Young people should get a chance to thrive at work, but Disabled young people who are able to work, and looking for opportunities, are missing from this announcement. The Government must include people facing the most barriers, to lift everyone up.

@dailybritainonx Yes, contractual obligations like any job. Also, being an MP is too lucrative, attracting people for the wrong reasons who abuse the position to line their own pockets. Should have to live by the rules they set. Min Wage, pay their own bills. That would attract the right people.
