AFAIK, Coimbatore is one of the easiest cities for IT talent to migrate to. Similar weather to Bengaluru and Pune, a strong engineering talent pipeline, lower cost of living, and a better quality of life. It's a much more natural fit than many people assume. Hard truth many won't acknowledge: if any city in Tamil Nadu has the potential to become a Bengaluru- or Pune-scale IT hub, it's Coimbatore. Similar weather. Strong engineering talent. Lower costs. High quality of life. The future is Coimbatore.

Pune boomed because of its proximity to Mumbai and more importantly, Mumbai’s real estate was simply out of reach for low-end IT / back office jobs. Coimbatore has a lot of potential in IT, but cannot be the next Pune!

Chennai urgently needs a 5,000+ acre next generation aviation hub with two “independent parallel” 4000Mtrs+ CodeF runways (not intersecting runways like Meenambakam which curtails runway capacity with lengths of 3600+Mtrs Code4E and 2000+Mtrs Code 3C ), MRO facilities, cargo terminals, aerospace industries, logistics parks, hotels and some room for future expansion. The site was chosen after extensive technical evaluation, balancing aviation requirements, connectivity, future scalability and minimising overall social and environmental impact. The higher you go, the more responsible and factual you should be. It is unfortunate that the Minister has given false information claiming that the Airports Authority of India (AAI) said constructing a runway at Parandur would not be feasible. The fact is that both the AAI and the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) have confirmed Parandur as the best and most suitable site for the new airport.

No matter how many times you attribute my support for the Parandur airport to personal investment, I can only pity you. I have not bought any land parcel near or around Parandur.
