I just hit 55k followers on whatnot.
To anyone who thinks they can’t do it, Please read this ⬇️ this is my story
I started this as just an idea on a summer day a year ago. I was at a point in life where things felt stagnant I wasn’t feeling so fulfilled with what I was doing and wanted to start something new that I can find joy in again. I happened to be scrolling on YouTube shorts and saw someone making a pack opening video, up until that point I had never even thought of sports cards in my life, but it looked fun and I decided to get involved, I thought it was something I could be good at So I went to my local grocery store, saw a pack of cards, and decided to open it and take a video.
I’ll never forget it—it was a silver Allen Iverson Monopoly card.
I took a video, posted it on YouTube, got 1,000 views, and felt like the coolest person on planet Earth.
I started telling people I was starting a card YouTube channel. I bought a ton of cards my friends would come over and look at me like I lost my mind, I told them I’m telling you I’m working. Most people laughed at me. They told me, “What are you saying? This is dumb. It’s a bubble. This isn’t real.”
But I kept going.
I posted for 100 straight days on YouTube. I didn’t give up on my dream. I had an idea of what I wanted to do, and I went and did it.
Along the way, I met two amazing partners who shaped me into a true businessman and taught me what it really means to run a business. Had my back the entire way, motivated me, and made me feel like I can accomplish anything. They became more than a partner but family. I am nothing without them and all my success is through them. To them, I owe the world, and I’m tremendously grateful.
I sit here today looking at the number 55.5k followers, and my mind goes back to the very first day—walking into our office with my wife. She was pregnant with our son at the time, and I told her this would be big. Sat with me 9 months pregnant on the floor of our office cause we didn’t have chairs yet and shipped out our first order. She took like a champ All the late nights of me not being home and all the hours she sacrificed of me staying late in the office. She was the first ever sticker person to put stickers on our auctions. She believed in me and supported me the whole way and always told me I can do anything I put my mind to. Thank you Leez. I truly hope everyone is blessed with a wife like mine.
To my son if you ever read this, I hope you don’t have twitter but if you do and happen to see this. Never give up, always be strong in what you believe in. And most importantly when you put your mind to something there is nothing you can’t do.
To everyone who watched me and supported me—thank you. It means the world to me. To all the friends I met and made along the way, thank you.
This isn’t the end—it’s just the beginning.
I’m writing this for a reason. Maybe to inspire the next big thing, or help anyone know that it is possible to make something of yourself. Find what you love and go.
Never give up on your dream. When you believe in something, run with it and never look back. God is in control, but He gave you the keys to drive.
Never stop.
Love you all. PrimeChasers for life ❤️
