The Palestinian cause started fading the moment it was Islamized. The Palestinian cause lost its essence when a large part of its people and its deeply rooted Christian history were pushed aside. Everywhere you look here, there’s a Monastery, a Church, a story of a Saint woven into this land. Trying to erase us from this history and from this Land is a brutal attempt to strip the cause of its reality, isolate it, and monopolize it. And that’s no different from the kind of domination you claim to be fighting

@PrimeFayyad Remind me when the Palestinian causes was ever effective before Hamas. Middle Eastern Christians and other religious minorities were often part of the colonial apparatus rather than the resistance to it as proven time and time again.

These people are a complete joke. The mayor of Jenin is handing out fire extinguishers to villages that came under attack this week by Israeli settlers who set Palestinian homes on fire. Instead of protecting Palestinian civilians under attack by Israeli settlers, the Palestinian Authority is reduced to handing out fire extinguishers. People need protection and a real response that stops these attacks, not just leaves them to deal with the aftermath.

أنا من أكتر الناس اللي بتوصلهم شتايم من فلسطينيي الأردن يا علي، وإذا بتدور على تغريداتي بتلاقيني كمان بهاجمهم زيك هلا. بس بعد تفكير طويل، وبعد ما حكيت مع ناس منهم بشكل مباشر، اكتشفت إنهم مش سيئين… هم بس مغيّبين. ما عندهم معرفة حقيقية عن فلسطين، وكل اللي بعرفوه جاي من قنوات زي الجزيرة واللي بيمشي وراها. وبرضه، لو بدنا نحكي بصراحة، المسؤولية مش عليهم بس… المسؤولية كمان على فلسطينيي الداخل، اللي تركوا المجال لأكتر من ٢٠ سنة لحماس والجزيرة يفرضوا روايتهم، بعيد كل البعد عن الواقع الحقيقي لفلسطين. وبرضه بعد تفكير أعمق، وصلت لقناعة انه الهجوم والشتم ما بيفيد. اللي بيفيد فعلاً إنك تحكي روايتك… رواية كل غزّاوي وكل فلسطيني عايش الواقع، وتحاول توصل فكرتك بالعقل، مش بالعصبية. أنا من كل ١٠ رسائل شتم بتوصلني، ٨ منهم من فلسطينيي الأردن. بس لو رديت عليهم بنفس الأسلوب، ما رح يتغير إشي. بالعكس، لما رديت باحترام، قدرت أغيّر طريقة تفكير أكتر من شخص… وصدقني، هاد الشعور كثير حلو

It’s politics at the end of the day, KBS won’t decline Lindsey Grahams visit. But by the way the war is going, Gulf countries aren’t with the war (the way it was presented to them) So it’s unfair to say that Gulf countries gave the US the green light to go to war with Iran. They simply didn’t stop them.

Perhaps, but claiming that the Gulf countries were involved in the attacks from the outset is not accurate. Gulf countries desired a straightforward war, which Trump failed to present to them and Europe before attacking. Gulf countries attempted to negotiate a deal to postpone the war, at least until the US presented a clear plan.

دول الخليج كانوا تقريباً متوقعين طريقة الرد الإيراني من سنة ٢٠٢٤. صحيح إنهم سمحوا لأمريكا بوجود عسكري محدود عشان الهجوم، بس فعلياً ما كانوا مع الحرب، والسبب بسيط ما كان في خطة واضحة إلها. وبالعكس، دول زي قطر وعُمان والسعودية حاولوا لآخر لحظة يحلّوا الموضوع بالدبلوماسية، لكن بالنهاية ما زبطت x.com/spectatorindex…
