An interaction? Sleep didn’t really come easy. But this morning, I checked again… and it was resolved. @JAMBHQ How do you set a university cut-off mark at 150 out of 400 and still expect excellence later? That’s not even average. Then years after, the same system turns around to mock the youths it failed to build properly. Tomorrow they’ll say: “Nigerian youths are not employable.”

The Heads of Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria had unanimously agreed that the Minimum Admissible Scores for admissions into Universities should be 150, Colleges of Nursing, 150, and Polytechnics, 100.

This is why some of us get angry when people like @Eniolorunda blaming Nigerian youths like we’re the problem. You’ll hear: “the youth are not employable” “they don’t have what it takes” But look at the standards being set in this country.
