You are a fool sir. Many YouTubers had their accounts stolen pre-Covid because of poor security systems in place by PlayStation support Sony/playstation changed their security post 2021 because of this incident. Back when this happened, anyone’s account could’ve been stolen by simply calling PlayStation, pretending to be someone else and saying you forgot your email and password, support would ask you for “recent purchases” and this was easily found by looking at their trophies. PSN would reset the account and hand it off to the person stealing the account. It was that easy and many creators had their accounts stolen during this time period. You can no longer social engineer this way anymore because it was happening so frequently and the accounts would be sold off on dark web sites. Bigger creators were the primary targets. Not to toot my own horn here but when this happened, I was averaging like 200-300 viewers every stream in BO4.

To the folks still defending Sony's pathetic decision to remove physical media from their production, here's a solid reminder why I will never support and you shouldn't either. I had to literally sue Playstation because my OG account was wrongfully banned and it took me 3 years to get it back. All of my licenses and games I paid for digitally were gone. $3,000 worth of items gone due to something that was never my fault in the first place. It took me fighting with support and getting a lawyer involved and taking them to court to get them to reverse the decision. x.com/PrimitiveAK/st…

After a 3 year battle with PlayStation regarding my account being stolen, then Permanently banned, PlayStation Moderation team from BBB gave me a call today to resolve the issue and unbanned my account and gave it back to me. Beyond blessed. This account is my childhood.

Since you’re spewing nonsense, I’ll answer this question to prove a point. At the time this happened, 95% of my games were physical. The only digital games were COD. Digital DLCs were non-functional and only the base disc games worked. So you’re wrong about being locked out of physical games. That might be a thing for a few newer games now, but all of my disc games worked fine on a new account. 🤷‍♂️

@PrimitiveAK And if they stole all your physical games, they'd be at a pawnshop, so you still wouldn't have the games. Sucks, but a disc drive doesnt fix the issue when games are stolen. However, if this were Steam, you'd probably have every single game still. Stop playing consoles.

@PrimitiveAK 100% PlayStation is probably the worst consumer friendly company that there is. I had my account hacked, and when I contacted them for help getting it back, they said they couldn't do anything, so I had to create a new account and start over. Luckily, all my games are physical.

@StuAU47 @PrimitiveAK Just so we're clear. You can make a new account and still use the dics of the games you paid for. Can't do that with your digital purchases. They're tied to your account. Companies like the big 3 (Sony, Xbox, and Nintendo) will tell you to shove it and buy all the games again.
