Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang has officially bid farewell to 1,134 intending pilgrims from Plateau State as they embark on the 2026 Hajj to Mecca, Saudi Arabia. At a solemn ceremony in Jos, the Governor charged the pilgrims to uphold discipline, devotion, and exemplary conduct, reminding them that they carry the image of Plateau State and Nigeria on this sacred journey. He offered prayers for their safety, saying, "We entrust you to the protection of God Almighty… that He will guide you safely and bring you back in peace.” He encouraged them to approach the pilgrimage with sincerity and return spiritually renewed, while reaffirming his administration’s commitment to unity, peace, and inclusive governance for all citizens. With strong support from the state government,ranging from logistics to welfare,this year’s pilgrimage reflects a continued effort to promote religious harmony and care for the people. As they journey to the Holy Land, Plateau stands with them in prayers, hope, and shared faith.

Soldiers will go to battle, spend days in the bush with "Service support" they bought with their own money, come back to the barracks where they're supposed to unwind and relax after loosing sleep and comrades.
Then the command will collect their RCA, give them prison food, and when they dare complain, they'll point to insubordination.
When the soldiers voice out to via Social Media, they'll be charged with sections or extracts from the Armed Forces Social Media Policy.
Slavery wasn't this rigid.

I have been taking my time to read translated versions of the Quran, and honestly, if I had been born into that religion, it wouldn’t have taken me up to age 5 to start questioning the same kind of claims I see in Christianity…

If you read the Quran translated version you will find out its just a story book from a god whining about hell, Unbelievers, Jews and Christians.
If you remove all the threats and violence from the Quran the whole book won't be up to 50 pages.

Nigerian passport holders have very limited visa-free access in Asia. Even in China, to move from mainland to Hong Kong, you'd need a visa. This school holiday, my classmates from Ghana are in Philippines visa free. My guy from Somalia is in Malaysia visa free. My guy from Kenya is in Singapore visa free.
