Our Read Aloud March Madness is underway! 📚🏀 Classes are listening, voting, and cheering for their favourite books as they advance through the bracket. The excitement is building as we get closer to crowning our champion read aloud! @MacklinPS_TDSB

Our Chinese Student Association led a schoolwide Chinese Activity Day! 🇨🇳 Students participated in rotations exploring traditions such as calligraphy, lantern crafts, paper fans, Lunar New Year wishing tree, etc. Thx to our CSA for their leadership in celebrating Chinese culture.

Our BSA planned an amazing African Heritage Month/Black History Month assembly! Students shared their learning about Black brilliance and had a great time with @panmanonduty teaching us all about steel pan. Fun, engaging, and full of rhythm! @PrincipalBorges

Ms. Kishore’s Grade 4/5 class has been busy researching Black Canadian figures and celebrating their brilliance, achievements, and impact. Students showed curiosity, respect, and pride as they learned powerful stories from the past and present. @MacklinPS_TDSB

Our Grade 1 & 2 students had a blast celebrating 100s Day with fun activities and lots of smiles! 💯🎉 Learning is extra sweet when you count to 100 together! @PrincipalBorges

Grades 4–8 students engaged in the presentation “Embracing the Spirit of Ramadan,” by @nccm & TDSB. Students are deepening their understanding of the meaning and traditions of Ramadan. @PrincipalBorges

Our Grade 2/3 students @MacklinPS_TDSB became café owners for the week! ☕🍪 They set up a cafe for staff and parents/caregivers, practicing real-life financial literacy skills like counting money, pricing items, and making change. Learning never tasted so sweet!

What a wild learning experience! 🦎🦉 Students met real animal ambassadors during today’s Earth Rangers presentation and learned how to help protect wildlife and the environment. 🌱🐾 @PrincipalBorges @EarthRangers

Gr 4–8 students had an amazing time learning Silambam, a traditional Tamil martial art! They explored culture, coordination, and discipline through movement and skill. What an incredible experience! @TDSB_Tamil @PrincipalBorges
