Students of Government Medical College (GMC) Baramulla have raised concerns over inadequate hostel facilities, citing lack of matting and heating arrangements as winter approaches. They allege that despite paying hostel fees, they are being told to arrange matting themselves, which many find unfair and unaffordable. The students have urged the college administration to take immediate steps to improve living conditions before the onset of harsh winter.

@thenawakadal however, following the enhancement of 50 additional MBBS seats, the College is now providing the same facilities to around 150 students, ensuring that all basic amenities are available to the residents.

@thenawakadal The institution has consistently ensured that adequate hostel accommodation and facilities are made available to students. GMC Baramulla has been providing hostel facilities for both boys and girls for 100 students.
