Minister @Shiyamaldives participated in the opening ceremony of the newly established Fisheries and Ocean Club at Villa International High School. During the event, the minister emphasized the importance of youth in the sustainable use and management of ocean resources. He also urged the club members to embrace curiosity, boldness, and, above all, compassion towards the ocean. He urged them to strive to learn as much as possible about the oceans, advocate for practices that protect marine life, and always remember that their voices matter. The minister stressed that even the smallest voice can have a big impact and create waves of change. The ceremony was also attended by State Minister Dr. Amzath, senior officials of the ministry, and the senior administration of Villa International High School @VillaCollegeMv #WorldOceanDay2024
