@sirmarz1985 @dom_lucre You would be surprised at how many wear toupees. His brother Donnie is another one.

I’m sorry, I’m too distracted on what’s going with Marks dome.

@LeahRain77 The fact of the matter is, you people will get old too one day. Let them enjoy their retirement in peace. They all deserved that right.

This is happening in Jacksonville, Florida at a 55+ community. A 28-year-old girl was living there with her father who was ill when he passed. He gave the home to his daughter, and she wants to remain living in the community.. well the HOA has decided to enforce the 55 and over law, and is asking for $1000 from 155 members in the community to sue her to get her out of the neighborhood because she’s 28 years old, not 55+. In my opinion, this is despicable. These HOA‘s have way too much power. This sh!t has to stop.

@Peter_Bukowski Will he be able to play once the season starts? Or will he too be on the pup list?

In what way was this dude better than Brayden Burries?

BREAKING: Yaxel Lendeborg is named NBA Summer League MVP. 🔥🔥🔥

So I know you probably don’t know this, but LaFleur ran a similar offense with Aaron Rodgers that he runs with Jordan Love.
Did LaFleur not “trust” Rodgers either?
Dirt@DirtCobain28
@TheCheeseKing__ This is why love is so high in efficiency stats, Packer fans think MLF is holding Love back when it’s really the other way. Every offense MLF has been apart of before love has been high volume passing. He doesn’t trust love to throw the ball a bunch

@JPMAJEWSKI @GeryWoelfel 💯!! For sure! Murray comp is a headscratcher for me. I don't see him as being explosive.

Some NBA personnel at the Vegas Summer League told me Bucks combo guard Brayden Burries reminds them somewhat of a young Jamal Murray, the Nuggets All-Star guard.
Burries was the Bucks’ top pick in the June draft, the 10th overall selection.
“He isn’t overly quick or fast but he has a real nice feel for the game,” said a personnel director. “He knows how to find a shot. I think he’s going to be a very good player.”
English

@GeryWoelfel I sure hope he is better than Murray. It would be a disappointment if he wasn't. Murray ain't all that. Had like one good year.
English

@Jordann15118531 I am pretty sure they are done. Some bottom feeders will get cut and they will just go guard heavy. Gonna be interesting.

@Crazymoments01 That kid is old enough to get a dirt bike! Cmon guys!!

A boy dragged a rusty little toy car down the street on a string when a patrol car pulled up beside him. The officer took the toy without a word, drove off, and left the boy sobbing on the curb with his face in his hands. The car came back, the officer opened his trunk, and lifted out a big blue ride on car for the boy to climb into. The man who seemed to take away a boy’s only toy came back to give him a better one.

@srajagopalan Best movie I have seen in the last ten years. There has been so much shit out lately. I am not a fan of Barbie or Supergirl. Actually the last 5 years of The Avengers has been crap. This movie though I give an 8 out of 10.

My two-cents on The Odyssey: I came away underwhelmed.
Visually, it is spectacular, with some incredible set pieces. The most impressive are Circe turning the men into pigs (I would watch a spinoff just about Circe), the Cyclops Polyphemus in his cave, Scylla striking from the rocks, and the towering Laestrygonians.
But the film has no soul. And one important part of The Odyssey is about a man searching for his soul, working out who he really is after victory and glory. It felt like Nolan seems to have absorbed too much from recent superhero movies—the ones that hand you great action, visuals, and set pieces but leave little emotional residue behind once you walk out.
What I liked: The film is visually incredible. The sound design is among the best I have experienced in one of these big-experience movies, and the production design, the cinematography, the use of IMAX film, and the absence of CGI are all impressive. The war scenes are pretty good (though I don’t know why Agamemnon is wearing a Darth Vader-esque costume). The casting, which has riled up everyone, didn’t bother me. Argos was the best casting in the movie, followed by Pattinson as Antinous.
What baffled me: The real failure is that the gods and demigods are barely there. A Greek epic without the gods talking, interfering, and conspiring makes little sense to me. This is the Hollywood version, stripped of the mysticism and uncertainty at the heart of the story. Athena is reduced to almost nothing. She shakes her head, her eyes brim with tears, and that is about all the film gives her. Hermes never appears. Calypso comes off as a hippie island girl, not a nymph deity.
Once you take the gods and goddesses out, the whole thing goes flat, because now Odysseus reads only as a poor, lost man trying to get home (insert the usual meme about Hollywood trying to bring Matt Damon home). But Odysseus is a proud man, a vain man, who thinks he controls his destiny until the gods put him in his place over and over again. In Nolan’s version, the wrath of each god turns up as another weather event. There are too many stormy scenes. I understand that it is a seafaring journey, but there is far more to it than that.
The biggest disappointment was the music, which was soulless and flat. Losing the Sirens’ song and turning it into a voice-over was a poor choice.
It is definitely worth a watch. It is not Nolan’s best movie. And to truly experience The Odyssey, read the book.

@hopeagain__ Are girls really this strong that they can throw a guy around like that?!!😲
English

@Bucksndseahawks @BucksEmpires You would think a few of those expiring contracts would be worth something.
English

@PrinclTodd @BucksEmpires ..so we’ll just shed contracts. There’s like 3 I’d like to get off Anyway (outside of the most obvious one 🤦♂️)
English

@TheCheeseKing__ Well it is true. Love is pretty much an average quarterback compared to Favre and Rodgers. Those two played with heart.

@DennisSuttonSZN Isn't he holding out? No way they give into his demands.
