Time for another @PacktPublishing book review! This time, I reviewed @panwreaper's book entitled "Implementing Palo Alto Networks Prisma Access." If you haven't yet implemented a Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) solution, Palo Alto's Prisma is an excellent choice. The power of the Palo NGFW in the cloud! For anyone new to SASE, this text does a wonderful job of walking you through the basics, installation, and configuration. The text begins with an overview along with service activation steps. It then covers setting up the managed service infrastructure. Once the basic infrastructure is set up, the book covers SC-CAN deployment for connecting data centers. After the general setup is done, it's time to configure remote networks, mobile users, the web gateway, and initial policies. That's when things get really fun with the setup of the GlobalProtect gateway. From there it's all about proxies and security policies. This takes us to the advanced configuration section of the book, which covers user identification, the Cloud Identity engine, Insights, and the ZTNA connector.
