@Revolut just hit $6B revenue, $2.3B profit, 68M users, $75B valuation.
And the point I'm taking from this is that it was all built out of Europe.
The shift is real.
More breakout companies are being built in Europe instead of moving to SF:

@MistralAI
@Klarna
@Wise
Just naming a few here.
A few years ago, the playbook was clear: move to SF to build something global
Now you can:
- hire across Europe
- raise from global funds
- sell globally from day one
- build AI products without being in the Valley
SF might still be the right place to build out of, but it is very possibly seeing a slow shift.
