Reminder that the Call Me Ted posters were removed from the front of the programmes last season to keep the sponsors happy. I can't speak for the sponsors but I do wonder how many are happy this evening...! #itfc

Proud to be an inclusive, diverse, and welcoming organisation - yet have allowed a group who wish to abolish the Equality Act to eliminate DE&I rules to promote themselves at their club.

@Georgeturnerutb @IpswichTown Always straight to the insults isn’t it, is that because you know what you’re saying is just a lie? Last I checked this isn’t a majority

Following Monday’s visit by the Reform party and its leader, Nigel Farage, the club would like to issue the following statement: Ipswich Town Football Club has, over several years, hosted representatives from a range of political parties. The club remains apolitical and does not support or endorse any individual or party. The club will continue to engage with representatives from across the political spectrum as part of its role within the community. Ipswich Town is proud to be an inclusive, diverse, and welcoming organisation that supports all members of the local and wider community. This commitment remains unchanged.

💫 The Club is proud to be partnering with @suffolk_refugee as part of Amnesty UK's Football Welcomes initiative. Isaac and Milan (pictured below) will be virtual mascots for tomorrow's home game against AFC Wimbledon. 👇 #itfc

It’s never a good look when a football team aligns itself with any political party. It’s a bloody terrible look when a football club aligns itself with hatred xenophobia, islamophobia, and homophobia.

Be this as it may, Ipswich have been naive at very, very best in allowing themselves to be piggybacked by Reform like this. Anyone could have seen how it would play out. Very disappointing. #ITFC

No Official Town Involvement in Farage Visit - Reform UK leader Nigel Farage visiting Portman Road yesterday had no official involvement from the club, TWTD understands. twtd.co.uk/ipswich-town-n… #itfc #efl #championship #LocalElections #Mayelections

@Nigel_Farage The irony of him sat in front of the @ITFCFoundation logo, who’s main aim, in their words is to build an empowered, inspired, and inclusive community to be proud of, using the power of Ipswich Town to make positive changes to the lives of those in our community.

I don’t buy all the ‘they’re a reputable party’, ‘they might win in Suffolk’ nonsense. Vote for who you like, I don’t care. But for the club to be seen to be endorsing such a divisive, poisonous candidate and party is an awful look & will be held against us for years #itfc
