Nova Scotia Privateers

@PrivateersLC @wolveslacrosse1 Yes, branding was the issue. I’m saying I’m surprised no pro sports team in the city has that name with the connections it has to Halifax. In fairness, I didn’t specifically say pro at first, so that wasn’t a good thing to say when your team has that name. I apologize for that.

The lacrosse broadcast said the Thunderbirds considered being called the Halifax Privateers but the branding concept was bad. But how do we not have a Halifax Privateers team? Seems pretty natural considering the city’s unofficial anthem is Barret’s Privateers.
