@isfall True, the route matters. A northern route would likely have been several degrees cooler. But even places like Brest experienced an exceptional heatwave. It wouldn't have been a "cool Tour" either.

@ProCyclingStats Well, all is bc where the stages goes. Wait until after we get to the Alps in 3rd week to sum the 2026 edition up. Also, this years Tour is only in the south/middle south, plus Spain, and at last week the east. Nothing in north/north west like Bretagne were it's always colder.

@ProCyclingStats Possible d’avoir la stat jour par jour ? Pour voir l’influence de l’Espagne ? La ou les autres années le départ a été souvent dans le nord (sauf 2023 et 2024 ou c Espagne puis Italie)

@elie_julien Bonsoir, Toutes les 20 minutes, nous utilisons la température de la station météo la plus proche de la position du peloton. La moyenne de ces relevés donne la température moyenne d'une étape, puis la moyenne des étapes donne la valeur annuelle (9 étapes pour 2026 jusqu'à présent)
