@ProLikeYou Hi, due to the volume of traffic that needs to be released we can not give an estimated time of when all traffic will be released.

Due to a serious collision, the #M40 is closed NORTHBOUND from J11 #Banbury to J13 #LeamingtonSpa It is also closed SOUTHBOUND from J15 #Warwick to J12 #Gaydon Emergency services are working on scene. Diversion information to follow.

@ProLikeYou @HighwaysWMIDS That’s horrible I’m sorry - was 3 hours for me :( it’s all 3 lanes from what I saw yes! A transporter was completely on the side + cars and whatever else that got caught up in the incident. Hopefully they get through escorting more people off quickly

@ProLikeYou @HighwaysWMIDS Hi I was stuck northbound! I saw people at the very end of southbound being turned around and driven off so maybe that’s the plan - saw the accident it’s very severe I don’t see them being able to clear that quickly :/

@eieniffy To put it bluntly, the S.O acts law has not changed or seen any significant ammendments since 2003... it is fairly difficult to prosecute with no physical evidence and even with its still pretty hard unless you've got physical non planted evidence of CP for example
