spot positions continue to bleed but managed to secure another green week for the books with active trades:
> caught $rail at 100m before things took off which offset losses and put me comfortably in the green – it’s not often you get a fairly easy lay-up where the numbers actually make sense
took initials off the table at 218m and plan on riding out the rest a bit longer
> aped a @prlnet mining package as mentioned last week, turns out prices were slightly cheaper otc though lol - nonetheless mining is now locked in for the next 45 days
> trimmed some of my $skr holdings which were slightly underwater due to the ongoing sol shenanigans on the tl (treating this position as sol beta)
also dabbled a bit on the equity front and tried playing catch up on the $hype trade with $hypd which i cut early ahead of the weekend at break-even
plans / monitoring for this week:
@stardotfun kick off with a bunch of raises later this week with pre-commitments now open, early investors currently get a bonus allocation so getting dd underway now is worth it
projects raising include...
> @prostakegg – allow viewers to bet on streamers as they participate in competitive games (400 users with 46k~ volume in a 45 day beta)
> @faxscfx – building a stablecoin gateway for foreign currency arbitrage / dollar access
> @fdn_labs - a solana based defi protocol that lets users earn yield from private loans financing ai infrastructure
still need to look further into things here but this one is particularly interesting as it sits at the intersection of both ai and stablecoin narratives; the team are also part of the circle alliance program and have active support from the solana foundation
> @boywithnolegs – will be releasing "cards pack 2" this week (inspired by jungle + fossil pokemon tcg)
the artwork looks killer and is a no brainer as a collector imo; artwork aside pack 1 also did multiples on secondary
> @predictumx – building parlay infrastructure on solana for prediction markets
> @jaileddotfun – launch here looks imminent, not too sure how i feel about this one given that @pussycattech was originally the pivot since jailed wasn’t fun enough iirc but will keep a watchful eye nonetheless
> @cabalsio – a social app on hyperliquid with early beta now live, the platform is being built by @0xkawz who was previously behind timedotfun so worth paying attention here
> @playalerith – an upcoming fantasy mmorpg on solana which has been in the works for 3~ years (sign ups for early genesis status close in 8 days here)
worth noting that the @colosseum frontier project directory has also gone live so i’ll need to find some time to do some digging through that
that wraps up another week alongside an even more eventful weekend with the supposed end of the iran war now seemingly in sight (in all honesty idk what to believe anymore)
nonetheless all eyes on tuesday open given that it’s memorial day and in particular thursday where we get us pce + gdp data

20/52 spot positions sliightly down over the past week (heavy $skr) but closed things out in the green with multiples on both @jurassicfi (good fill due to depositing early) and the cards collection by @boywithnolegs managed to also find the time to pick up some first chapter disney lorcana on the collectibles front whilst the overall collectibles portfolio continues to trend up with recent dragon ball fusion world buyouts (which makes up a large majority of my collection) as someone who looks at projects on a daily basis, it’s also been one of the more solid weeks in terms of discovery – has been a minute since i’ve felt this way interesting finds: > @papertrade_xyz – an upcoming perps exchange built by @izebel_eth and @blurr which allows for up to 1000x leverage with 0 funding costs highly recommend getting familiar with the mechanics of the project and being prepared for launch which will essentially be a race to get liquidated imo (tldr losing trades mint $paper which can be staked to earn usdc) > @proofmarkets – a new exchange working on “multiverse markets” where traders can speculate on the price of an asset in a world where said event actually occurs i.e. btc if quantum becomes a genuine threat v interesting article on this from @airtightfish which i recommend checking out: x.com/airtightfish/s… > @prlnet – a l1 blockchain which uses a proof of “useful” work mechanism tied to ai compute already seeing a bit of vc activity around the project with otc trading already live at around 0.41~ atm worth signing up to their waitlist here so you can get alerts on available mining packages: compute.pearlresearch.ai/buy > @altdotfun – a launchpad where tokens associated with leveraged positions on hyperliquid can be launched seeing a lot of noise on this alongside the spacex pre-ipo market going live which makes for further compelling $hype narratives > @grailpulls – an upcoming collectibles platform from fancraze who have raised over 120m from sequioia, insightpartners and the like look to be differentiating from other platforms with icc gachas incoming (cricket) > the @phygitals team have also been teasing both @ripnreveal and @slabvending that wraps up this week’s update! a lot to unpack here coupled with a large amount of attention currently on both the base and hype ecosystems which is v promising to see all eyes on iran this week as the geopolitcal situation continues to escalate as always have a good week ahead 🫡

a few prediction markets social apps on my radar right now and all different shapes, all worth a try
the pattern they share: they're financial products where the social graph is the core primitive
> @sharexyz is the cleanest example where polymarket trades become a feed. you follow wallets the same way you follow accounts + copy-trading with profit-sharing on top (really impressive ui/ux + branding)
> @TradeOnsight is a polymarket client built for traders. visible positions, mutuals' calls in your feed, payouts tied to being right
> @hivy_alpha prediction markets become group activity. shared positions, collective alpha, rewards for participation not just pnl. closer to a discord trade channel than a market interface.
> @useperminal (underrated) does it on @HyperliquidX. social prediction feed, one-tap copy, you get paid every time someone copies your call or a referral trades.

> @turfsports_ is using a very interesting approach. they're partnering with polymarket to turn fan takes into priced positions, and they shipped sdk markets on base: a parimutuel toolkit where any community can spin up markets on anything, resolved by AI oracles that scrape ESPN, sleeper, X, podcast transcripts, whatever.
every group chat becomes a potential market.
some more thoughts on my side:
in theory, the best distribution layer for this right now seems to be @base (for onchain). it's the only ecosystem treating consumer as the actual thesis
~550k daily active addresses and the part that matters most for consumer apps: 9.3m monthly active coinbase trading users sitting one tap away

My Caesars account has been permanently closed due to a “business decision.” No explanation. No transparency. I now have to wait 4–6 weeks to receive MY own money via check.
