It's not a player choice, every dialogue choice proves that Joker genuinely just does NOT fw Mishima and it's NOT up for discussion. He REFUSES to call Mishima his friend even once 😭

Now I actually agree. However if you make the girl a tsundere who clearly loves him back but is too stubborn/flustered to admit it, and the guy intentionally uses that to tease her, it becomes peak.

Admittedly, I wouldn't expect either strong execution or such themes at all in a 12+ mobage.

@hellotiddys Stormlight book 5 made me wanna scream with those moments. It didn't feel like the characters were coming to grips with rudimentary understanding of mental illness, but like Sanderson picked up a Psych 101 course and started directly copying symptom notes into character arcs.

one of my biggest pet peeves when it comes to dialogue is when the characters are extremely self aware and talk like a therapist. "sorry my traumatic daddy issues which caused my bpd sometimes causes me to lash out at those i consider my found family" please im begging u to stop

If you never give it a fair try, never see how the elements come together (of fail to) in your own hands, then it's borrowed fandom.

That's why you can't be a fan of a game if you've never touched it. You can only appreciate the discrete elements

But it's an open-world game with a myriad systems and respec. Experiment.
