Whenever Senator Thune is standing behind a podium, spewing up nonsense and excuses,@TomCottonAR is always right next to him. Another republican who does more to allow the Democrats to control the Senate and run the clock out
Florida for Trump 🇺🇸This Election 🗳 4 FREEDOM@rickyllesor1

Another one exposed. 🦏 Tom Cotton, holding the third ranking position as Senate Chairman Republican Conference. He is a roadblock to any attempt to hold Thune Accountable or for the removal of Thune to even be considered. But he does say what you want to hear, aren’t we sick of that.

@Pro_sthesis @thatfpsguy @RealBrittHughes I grew up in the 90s where at 18 you could make a good not minimum wage doing things like roofing. Hard work and good pay went together now those wages are depressed by immigrant labor.

The funniest part is that the same people complaining that a Big Mac doesn't cost $1.50 anymore are the same people demanding the fry cook make $25 an hour.

@thatfpsguy @RealBrittHughes You've got that twisted. I grew up in the era when you could get freakishly inexpensive burgers, and I absolutely do NOT want cheap imported labor. What I want is for minimum wage jobs to go back to being for teenagers to get work experience, not pay for an immigrant family of 4.

@RealBrittHughes And the people who bought the $1.50 Big Macs for their entire life really want to keep benefitting from cheap imported labor forever. Funny isn’t it?

The feeling so far is that Visma wants to control for the stage win and make the race as hard as possible for Jonas. But maybe they just want to make sure no GC guy attacks on this climb and will take the foot off tthe gas after. We'll see. #GirodItalia

@Domestique___ He refers to an unwritten rule, but fails to elaborate. I can infer what he meant, but he should come right out and say what he means. Perhaps he did and it's the author's fault for not including it in the article.

@raven_brah That’s certainly not my experience. Eating out was something we never did as a family, and yes, burgers maybe once a month were a big deal.

Boomers seem to forget that fast food used to be a normal, everyday expense for them because it was affordable. You could get a burger easily on minimum wage, it wasn’t some fancy treat you had once a year as a reward for pulling yourself up by your bootstraps.

My thoughts go out to Tulsi Gabbard and her family, as her husband battles this serious health problem. I hope and pray that he makes a speedy and full recovery. While the circumstances around her departure are deserving of our sympathy, let’s be clear: Tulsi Gabbard’s only positive contribution to our nation's national security is her resignation. She politicized intelligence. She dismantled critical agencies keeping Americans safe. She weaponized the IC to pursue baseless election fraud claims. And more. We must ensure that her tenure — marked by a devotion to the person of the president and not to the security of the country — represents a terrible exception at DNI and not the new normal.

Maj. Gen. Davis accepts honor from the community while he dishonors God and the authority appointed above him in @SecWar. It has been nearly two months since SecWar ordered the removal of rank insignia from the chaplains' uniform. Somehow this two-star general cannot figure out how to get to a tailor and make that happen. Here he proudly accepts honor from the community while his uniform is a symbol of the contempt he has for authority. SecWar said that chaplain's are to be "Chaplains first and officers second." If this 'Chief' of chaplains cannot Make the Chaplain Corps Great Again, perhaps he should be neither a chaplain, nor an officer so that someone can fill the role who will.

@Pro_sthesis @SecWar A Chaplain is always a chaplain. You never out promote the rank, but for many they choose to let the promotion in rank rule over their lives. Also the religious insignia is on his uniform.

I am deeply grateful for the trust President Trump placed in me and for the opportunity to lead @ODNIgov for the last year and a half. Unfortunately, I must submit my resignation, effective June 30, 2026. My husband, Abraham, has recently been diagnosed with an extremely rare form of bone cancer. He faces major challenges in the coming weeks and months. At this time, I must step away from public service to be by his side and fully support him through this battle.

@VetUSA1 @TaskandPurpose 1) I’m a graduate 2) I knew plenty of NCOs who went to the school and who never served in one of the batts 3) I didn’t say that the school used artificial stress. You’re right, the course is stressful enough 4) you know damn well what I meant, it’s a leadership course

Hey uninformed, it looks like you may not have gone through Ranger School as an enlisted soldier. I’m a Ranger School graduate. While it’s primarily an officers’ leadership course, enlisted soldiers — especially those in infantry, airborne, or light infantry units — also attend. We’re selected because our commands view us as strong performers and assets to the unit. The only 19-year-olds in my class had already completed RIP and were assigned to a Ranger Battalion. For everyone else in the Army, attendees are typically NCOs in their mid-twenties. Ranger School isn’t designed to artificially stress students. The stress comes naturally from the mission: conducting small-unit infantry operations in contested and denied areas while operating on severe sleep and food deprivation, poor hygiene, constant long-range movements, and exposure to harsh terrain, weather, and wildlife. There’s no need for the school to manufacture extra stress — the environment and requirements provide more than enough. By the way, what exactly do you mean by a “commando course”?
