What would the response look like if Iran intentionally bombed journalists from the FT, BBC, CNN, NYT, Reuters, etc. and the headlines were “Pro-US journalists killed,” “Pro-NATO journalists killed”, “Pro-Israel journalists killed”?
@BBCWorld The same scenario of Gaza is repeated by Israel, Israel has killed hundreds of journalists who have tried to expose the atrocities committed by IDF soldiers.!!
I’ve just watched Palestine 36: So many people need a history lesson. October 7th wasn’t the start. It goes back a long long way. Imagine being a citizen to a place that lost status, sovereignty, human rights, freedom and land. And then for decades got hemmed in, encroached, destroyed and an appropriation of the land unchecked. Destinies of people who have lived there for generations completely torn up. Grief turns into rage. It would anywhere. But apparently it’s “antisemitic” to raise any concerns about this.
BREAKING: Three people have been killed, including two journalists, after an Israeli strike on a media car in southern Lebanon.
The Israeli military have said those killed worked for Hezbollah affiliated channels.

Switzerland urges #Israel to abandon the #DeathPenaltyBill. If adopted by the #Knesset, it would expand capital punishment and be a serious step back from Israel’s long-standing restraint, a regional example. 🇨🇭opposes the death penalty everywhere, under all circumstances.
@EurovisionNewZ@ynet Israel must be excluded from the Eurovision as a state that is an occupier, commits war crimes, and crimes against humanity. I have no sympathy for the participant who represents a regime of mass murderers.
🇮🇱 Eden Golan, Israel’s representative in #Eurovision 2024 tell to @ynet about her fears after the contest:
“I’ve had recurring anxiety since Eurovision, I go into a restaurant or a show, and think that someone is looking for me. I have recurring nightmares, chasing me all the time”
FYI, all of you toxic freaks about to try and cancel Soren Torpegaard Lund will fail. The same way you failed in cancelling Antigoni. Stop hounding Eurovision artists over their perceived political views, no one is pandering to your mob any more babe. That era is over.
@sabine_fauth@eu_eeas The EU funds antisemitic schoolbooks that teaches children to grow up to be terrorists.
I’d be more concerned about that than how Israel handles the terrorists it captured.
The approval of the Death Penalty Bill by the Israeli Parliament would be a grave step backward.
The EU opposes capital punishment in all cases and under all circumstances. We encourage Israel to abide by its previous principled position.

Actually he doesn't say that, he says he was on all fours and people laughed at him, not that anybody forced him to crawl on the floor. He also doesn't specify who laughed at him: was it the man who kidnapped him, whom I wouldn't be surprised if they displayed such cruelty, or was it a healthcare worker who is obligated not to act in such a way? Since he doesn't say we don't know.
I have no doubt you'll respond by saying that I'm being obtuse and it's obvious what happened, but the fact of the matter is it's not. He doesn't say what you're saying he says, you are exaggerating what he actually said so that it fits your own narrative of what you wish to be true.
New article, in which I dig extensively into how often in the last two years Nasser hospital in Gaza has been used for military purposes by militants.

This is truly awful, but I'm not sure the story makes any sense. The man says that he was shot in the leg and that's why he was unable to walk, and then nobody helped him. And then… What? Why can he walk today? If his leg was broken - which is pretty much the only reason you wouldn't be able to walk after being shot - and nobody helped him then how did his bones magically heal?
If he was shot in the leg and he didn't have a broken bone, but was unable to walk because of pain, there is nothing that can be done about that. Is it possible that he was assessed, found not to have a fracture, and simply told that there is nothing to do except wait for the pain to go away? Seems much more plausible to me than the notion that this man was simply ignored in the hospital and then magically healed himself.
Israel used white phosphorus to burn nearly 5,000 acres of south Lebanon’s countryside in order to push Lebanese people out of their homes.
