@FiggaDaKID @GiovanniEXBX @Dom_2k You just acknowledged that at least in some circumstances, they have the ability to act as general law enforcement. Also, if you want to invent fake laws that don’t exist, you should think bigger!!

@FiggaDaKID @GiovanniEXBX @Dom_2k Your first sentence contradicts your original claim. Also… You: Makes up a law that doesn’t exist Me: What law exactly? You:It’s not my responsibility to cite the law that si conjured out of my imagination.

@FiggaDaKID @GiovanniEXBX @Dom_2k The last sentence you said definitely isn’t true. If an American citizen punched an ICE agent, they can legally arrest the puncher. So when you say it’s against the law, which law specifically?

@GiovanniEXBX @Dom_2k No they can’t, and it is against the law. They do not have the authority to act as TSA. They can be in the airport, but they cannot act as TSA and inspect people’s bags or persons, or even act as security toward any American citizen. They only have authority over non citizens.

@missgypsygirlie @TrillaryBlinton They haven’t claimed that’s what they did- although they did carefully word an article to trick gullible people who don’t actually read it that they did (while not claiming it)- which has caused those people to tell other people and so on…

I think the tape was released now because she did [another] domestic incident in late February that she’s under investigation for. I think the timing of the premiere is the actual coincidence here

@ThePoetGeeski People like that who say that don’t understand she has been charged with dv and is still on probation until August so this recent dv situation isn’t good for her

@JamieBonkiewicz Honest answer: because the constitution makes it incredibly hard for a president to face consequences... and reality tv stars don't have similar protection from consequences.

Why are the standards higher for The Bachelorette than the President of the United States?

@Probably_Human_ @l_shoes @jimboxp @Variety Yeah that happens a lot in Dv cases. Honestly they really are complex and I’d say the majority of them occur in a toxic scenario where both people push and eventually one takes it physical. In those situations no one is completely innocent really.

Taylor Frankie Paul is speaking out following ABC’s announcement that they will not air Season 22 of "#TheBachelorette": “Taylor is very grateful for ABC’s support as she prioritizes her family’s safety and security. After years of silently suffering extensive mental and physical abuse as well as threats of retaliation, Taylor is finally gaining the strength to face her accuser and taking steps to ensure that she and her children are protected from any further harm,” the statement from her spokesperson reads. “There are too many women who are suffering in silence as they survive aggressive, jealous ex-partners who refuse to let them move on with their lives. Taylor has remained silent out of fear of further abuse, retaliation, and public shaming. She is currently exploring all of her options, seeking support, and preparing to own and share her story." variety.com/2026/tv/news/t…

@Probably_Human_ @MyOwnMartyr @jimboxp @Variety As I've read more, it would have been a public document and would not have required FOIA, they would just need to submit a request to a court clerk which isn't a long turnaround. TMZ keeps 3 or more reporters at the LA courthouse, so they would know what and how to get evidence.

@MyOwnMartyr @l_shoes @jimboxp @Variety In the cases that are going to end in a plea deal 99% of the time, so much of the compromise is based on how much the DA (or whoever is making the decision) finds you sympathetic. Will be interesting to see how the current situation affects the contingencies of her plea deal.

@MyOwnMartyr @l_shoes @jimboxp @Variety Courts REALLY want to get a plea deal done with first time offenders. This does look like a favorable plea deal for someone based on the video. So why did the prosecutor agree to it? My guess is that she found FTP to be personally sympathetic when they spoke.

@Probably_Human_ @MyOwnMartyr @jimboxp @Variety You're right, I assumed FOIA because it said that they "obtained the video from case evidence." That it was exactly how the piece worded it when I read it earlier. Sorry I didn't screenshot it to show a random account.

@l_shoes @MyOwnMartyr @jimboxp @Variety After reading the article and how they worded it, they 100% did not get this video from FOIA- they are not claiming to get it from FOIA. And it doesn’t make sense that they would have gotten it from FOAI (which can take years and often can be blocked in family court cases)

@gelliottmorris That's almost impossible to analyze in a multicandidate race... If we had RCV, it would be much easier to analyze
